Will Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Final Become A Deja Vu?
Imagine if Croatia beat Argentina and Morocco beat France. The World Cup finals will be perhaps the most boring final in the history of the mundial. No disrespect to both teams, they fought for every moment of their games and really earned their place in the Semis.
Whether you imagine Morocco, Argentina final, it would not be that exciting to watch either. Perhaps, France, Argentina final may be something to look forward to, but is likely to also be a boring game to watch, if you look at how both teams have been playing.
Argentina have been striving on the good will of Messi. If you take him out, any underdog team like Saudi Arabia can defeat Argentina. Of course, you can refer to the scare Netherlands gave them. The Argentines couldn't hold a 2 - 0 lead for 15 minutes or so. That actually exposed their weakness to a large extent, which Croatia may take advantage of in the semi.
Croatia, France final will be a deja Vu of Russia 2018 and many pundits have predicted such likelihood. Croatia have the technical capacity to take out Argentina. and France also have the quality to break through Morocco's seemingly impenetrable defence line.
Croatia, France have proved their quest in Russia wasn't a fluke, both teams are here again in Qatar as the best in World at the moment
Well, that is because the best teams doesn't always win. Some of these games in Qatar were too close and would have gone either side. Argentina qualified for semi through penalty shoot out. As they say, Penalty shoot out is no man's game.
Well, Croatia has made it their game advantage. Croatia won four games through Penalty shoot out. If your team allow Croatia to drag the game to a shoot out, then you are a goner.
I have relished Brazil vs England final. What an exciting final it would have been. For me, both teams presented the best performances in Qatar. I also developed a soft spot for Japan and I think, many football fans across the world applauded their performances too. Anyway, this is World Cup and the unpredictable nature of football.
