They eliminated arch-rivals Ghana 3-1 on aggregate to qualify for the tournament proper, which will be hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
Nigeria are back in the competition after a six-year absence.
The delayed 2024 CHAN will kick off on February 1, 2025.
