Taiwo Awoniyi opened his goals account in the Premier League this season as Nottingham Forest thrashed Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-0 at the Molineaux on Monday night.
Awoniyi, who made his 15th league appearance this season, came on in the 88th minute and scored in stoppage time to complete the rout.
Also in action for Forest was Ola Aina who made his 20th league appearance for in-form Forest team.
Forest continued their impressive form as they sealed their sixth straight win in the Premier League this term.
Forest got off to a positive start as they took the lead just seven minutes into the game thanks to Morgan Gibbs-White.
In the 44th minute Chris Wood double the visitor’s lead before Awoniyi added the third goal in the 94th minute.
The win means Forest remain in third place, and are tied on 40 points with second-placed Arsenal in the league table.
Also, they are now six points adrift of league leaders Liverpool who have a game in hand.
Up next for Forest is a home game against Luton Town in the FA Cup, before returning to league action with a home fixture with Liverpool.
