Lagerback Broke World Record

Lars Lagerback the Swedish tactician now in charge of the Nigeria National team “Super Eagles” is a wonder to behold. He has shown without doubt that he is the man with the Magic wand and he is ready to break every record in football history with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Early enough, Lagerback understood what the Nigeria Football administrators are searching for after Coach Shaibu Amodu failed to impress at the Cup of Africa Nation in Angola. He understood that what Nigerians need is not a football coach, but a miracle worker. So, he came at the nick of time, when Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) had almost made up their mind on which foreign coach to employ.

He came with his magic wand and thrilled his interviewers with some spectacle of “Swedish Wonder” and immediately got the job.

Recently, he has performed another wonder, but this time, he broke a world record – as the only world cup coach who selected his provisional 30 Players list without seeing the players play or training with the boys for even a day.

How he trimmed down his 45 Players invited for camp to 30 Players is something like "Abra-ca-ta-Abra."

Perhaps, he used his magic wand again to choose his boys or someone is helping him select. Whatever may be the case, Lagerback is ready to show us more wonder during the World Cup.
