23 Super Falcons for 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup | Courtney Dike May Just be the ‘Joker in the Pack’
The Oklahoma state University striker Courtney Dike
has been in splendid form for the Super Falcons of Nigeria, ahead of FIFA Women’s
World Cup in Canada. Dike was ranked among the tops in the 23 players selected
for the tournament, which will kick-off June 5, 2015.
Following what Godwin Okon, head coach of the
Nigerian ladies, is doing with her, interchanging her role for tactical
variance during training, show you that she may be the Trump card or Joker for
in the pack.
We may see Dike play different roles as a Super-sub
in some games. She may play from the left side of the attack in a three strike
force formation, which includes: Desire Oparanozie and Asisat Oshoala.
Supporting attack is four times former African
footballer of the year, Perpetual Nkwocha, Washington Spirit Play maker
Francisca Ordega and Ini-Abasi Umotong of Portsmouth Ladies.
