Gent has completed the signing of Nigeria midfielder Rabiu Ibrahim.
The
25-year-old joins the Belgian kings on a three-year contract after leaving
Slovakia’s AS Trencin where he featured for two seasons.
He will
be hoping for a regular action in Hein Vanhaezebrouck’s squad that boast of
compatriot Moses Simon.

“Rabiu is
an elegant player who always seeks the footballing solution left footed and
with great technical ability,” announced Gent on their website.
“He was
at the age of 16 for the first scouted by the Portuguese Sporting Clube de
Portugal (the current club Bryan Ruiz and the former club Renato Neto ) ,
already played in several European leagues and was since his sixteenth joined
clubs like the aforementioned Sporting Lisbon, Glasgow Celtic , PSV and AS
Trencin.”
