The two goals, some beauty to watch and by all ramifications world class; memerized Iceland players, who seems not to understand what suddenly hit them.. They had the first half under control, and all through 45minutes or so, the Nigerian team hadn't a single shot at goal.
But Super Eagles came out smoking in the second half, running rampage on the Iceland defense, who couldn't keep pace with the speed of Ahmed Musa and Victor Moses' counter attack, that resulted to the two goals.
This win gives Nigerians a lot of hope against Argentina for the outcome of Group D and which team progress to the round of sixteen. Croatia has sure qualified with 6 points and top the group table, while Nigeria is currently in second place with 3 points...that left Argentina and Iceland with 1 point each.
With this win, Nigerian fans are optimistic that the Super Eagles will go well against Argentina on Tuesday; a draw may see us through, if Iceland doesn't run rampage on already qualified Croatia.
