Kizz Daniel and Patoranking Scheduled to Perform At Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup

Nigerian music sensation Patoranking, has been selected to perform at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. 

The reggae-dancehall singer will perform along with DJ Aseel and Hassan Shakosh at the global showpiece, which starts on November 20. 

Patoranking has been scheduled to entertain the global viewing audience at the FIFA Fan Festival of the World Cup, taking place on November 28. 

On December 2, Aseel is on the cards, while Shakosh is listed for December 12, with the artists set to be joined by the likes of Julian Marley and the Uprising, Gims, and the Miami Band.

Our correspondent  reports that Patoranking’s best-loved song Abule must have wooed him to the organisers of the Mundial. Although the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the World Cup, Nigerian rave-of-the-moment singer Davido was selected among the artists from around the world to perform the theme song of this edition. 

OBO, as the artist is fondly called, featured prominently along with other top stars from around the world. In September, the video boomed through the electronic scoreboard at the opening of the Lusail Stadium, scheduled to host the final game of this edition on December 18. Readers will recall that D'Banj was a headline artist during the 2010 World Cup as the 'Koko Master' thrilled the audience during the opening ceremony in South Africa.

Kizz Daniel will perform his hit track Buga at Qatar's 2022 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony. Talented music star from Nigeria, Kizz Daniel, will entertain the world from Qatar on Sunday, November 20, shortly before the kickoff of the opening match. According to The Will, the singer revisited his old tweet about performing at the world cup. He confirmed in the tweet that he would perform at the November opening ceremony.
