KADUNA STATE SPORTS INDUSTRY POLICY DIALOGUE - Join the Conversation

 

In 2022, Kaduna State drafted a Sports Development Policy becoming the first State in the Federal Republic of Nigeria seeking to domestic the 2022-2026 National Sports Industry Policy at State level, with the objective of leveraging provisions and opportunities of the NSIP for the social and economic benefit of her people.

To ensure the buy-in of the various stakeholders in the state's sports ecosystem, the State is hosting a first of its kind State Sports Industry Policy Dialogue to engage with stakeholders and delegates across the public, private and social enterprise sectors and get their views and other technical input to deliver a robust sports policy based on the goals and objectives for sports development in the state.

The Dialogue will focus on 6 (six) Priority Thematic Areas of Grassroot and Community Participation and Mobilization, Facilities and Infrastructure Development, Sports for Excellence and Professional Capacity Development, Association and Athletes Development, State’s Sports Industry Commercialization and Economic Development and Sports Administration and Governance The event is fully supported by Kaduna State Government with Kaduna State Ministry of Sports Development as host and Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency - KADIPA, Law Allianz and Sport Nigeria LTD/GTE as co-facilitators.
